Last fall I took a survey of folks to see what types of information they were interested in concerning sex positions. A few of the results were surprising and may be of interest to you.

Fully 44% of the respondents who wanted more information about lovemaking positions were women. All of you girls out there - your secret is out! You want more satisifying sex as much as the guys do. That is one of the main reasons the books were written with both partners in mind.

The folks were given a choice of 4 reasons why they wanted more information. The results here were a bit surprising as well. The greatest response was not the positions themselves!

Improved relationship 34%
They want their partner to crave more sex 33%
Learn more positions 20%
Increase endurance 13%

This indicates that the positions by themselves are interesting, but what we really want is improved romantic relationships and that hungry craving.

More results later. Have a happy and save (and sexual) new year!

As I continue on my quest for new and creative things to try, I have come across Japanese rope work. Although my love is not into restraints, there is the "decorative" side of the art form that deals only in ropework to the torso that is decorative and arrousing.

Nawa-do is the Way of the Rope

Shinju is the Tying of the Pearls (breasts)

Sakura is hte Tying of the Cherry (vaguina, clitoris)

There seems to be a debate over types of rope to use. Although some prefer cotton, the real experts use hemp, which is expensive and hard to find. The next choice is nylon (twisted or braided).

This is an area that must be done carefully as you can injure the body through restricting blood flow or causing nerve damage.

I would welcome any comments from those who have tried it, particularly the erotic decorative styles.
